Who operates this report

Kasa, Inc. (Kasa) provides this private owner report. This notice describes the owner reports hosted at partners.kasa.com and its earlier preview address. Not every report uses every feature described here; a report that does not use one collects nothing through it. You can read this notice without signing in.

For Kasa’s wider services and information about privacy rights, see the Kasa Privacy Policy. This page explains the collection and browser storage specific to this report.

What we collect and why

Who handles the information

Kasa personnel with access to these services can review the information for the purposes described above. Information may be processed in the United States. Links to external sites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Cookies and browser storage

Cookies accompany requests to the site. Local storage saves information in your browser; session storage keeps information for a browser page session. The report uses the following:

Cookie choicesobro_consent
Remembers whether you agreed to this notice at sign-in or declined analytics afterwards, so the report does not ask again and so the server knows whether it may record a login or name you in analytics requests. Storing this choice is necessary to honor it.Duration: 180 days, or until you change it. Signing out clears it as well.
Sign-in session__Host-sobro_access
A signed cookie that keeps the report accessible after sign-in. It includes an encoded email and cannot be read by page scripts.Duration: 12 hours, or until sign-out clears it.
Viewer identitysobro_viewer
A cookie containing your email, readable by the report, used to detect when a different viewer signs in and avoid mixing analytics identities. It is only set after you accept analytics, and it is removed when you decline.Duration: 12 hours, or until sign-out or declining clears it.
PostHog analyticsph_<project_token>_posthog
Only after you accept analytics, PostHog cookies and local storage hold visitor and session identifiers and saved analytics properties. Declining removes them.Duration: PostHog’s default cookie lifetime is 365 days, or until you decline analytics. Local storage can remain until cleared by the browser, the site, or you.
Opening animationsobro-intro-played
Session storage remembers that the opening animation has played.Duration: The browser page session.
Reading positionsobro:resume
Session storage lets the report return to your reading position.Duration: The browser page session, or until reset by report navigation.
Feedback namesobro-feedback-reviewer
When feedback is enabled, local storage remembers the name used for comments.Duration: No automatic expiry; it remains until changed or cleared.
Pending feedbacksobro-feedback-queue
Local storage keeps comments and their page context when delivery fails, so they can be retried when feedback is available.Duration: Until successfully sent or cleared; there is no automatic age limit.
Feedback control positionsobro-feedback-launcher-pos
When feedback is enabled, local storage remembers where you placed the feedback control.Duration: No automatic expiry; it remains until cleared.

How long information is kept

Session replay is configured for 30-day retention. Analytics events, viewer profiles, and feedback are separate records; the replay retention setting does not delete them. This report does not enforce a fixed automatic deletion period for analytics events or feedback.

Kasa’s general retention policy considers service needs, legal obligations, disputes, and agreements. Browser storage follows the durations above. Clearing cookies, signing out, or disabling feedback does not delete information already received by Kasa or its providers. Contact us below to ask about retention or request deletion.

Your choices and privacy contact

You agree to this notice when you sign in, and that agreement turns analytics and session replay on for your browser. Nothing optional loads before you sign in. You can decline at any time here, or from Cookie settings in the report footer, and the report works the same way either way. A decline is remembered for 180 days and is not overridden by signing in again. Declining stops events and replay in any open report tab, removes the PostHog and viewer identity cookies and storage from your browser, and stops the server from recording further logins. It does not delete information already received; contact us below for that.

When your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the report treats it as a refusal: it does not show the banner, does not load browser analytics, and does not record the login event, even if an earlier choice was stored.

You can also use your browser settings to block or clear cookies and site storage. Blocking the sign-in cookie may prevent access to the report. Clearing the cookie choice means the banner asks again.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your information, or to object to processing. For these requests, or any question about this report’s privacy practices, email hello@kasa.com and mention which owner report you read.
